Hey guys, hope you guys are having a wonderful week. So I’m back with my amebo mouth again. Over the weekend I made a new friend and we got talking about various topics including the current dilapidating economic situation in our nation (oluwa is in control). When I found out that we had a mutual love for art and fashion, the conversation skyrocketed to a totally different zone. My friend is an artist and I have learned more in one weekend than I ever learn’t from my fine arts class in secondary school.
At a point in our lives we were all miniature artists through the expression of our imagination in the form of lines and dots, the most common being the stick figures. This inherent recognition of our artistic side influences our everyday lives and style. From the colors we love, to the design of the household items we use. Everything appeals to our artistic side whether we recognize it or not. It is this unrecognized yet compelling aesthetic part of us that shapes our sense of style.
Our artistic expressions may be cool or uncool to people, but not all opinions matter right? Whichever way our aesthetic minds seem to go, that is the way we go. Ever wondered why some days you wake up feeling all playful, cheerful and happy and you pick a simple colorful dress with sandals, a hat and a small purse instead of corporate wear? Well now you do. Learn to feel and express the art in you, and by all means let it reflect on your outfit.
